Heather Scarlett Rose - Producer

A musical artist, award winning songwriter and magna cum laude graduate of the Berklee College of Music. Heather is responsible for weaving the sonic fabric of Stand True. As a co-writer, composer, arranger and producer she sculpted the songs and the performances. As a multi-instrumentalist, Heather added musical layers ranging from bass to guitar, keyboards and even whistling. Her harmony vocals also added to the Zamora Rose sound. Heather is currently working as a singer-songwriter and music producer in Austin, Texas.

Ed Goldfarb - Keyboards and Synth

smallFor more than 20 years, Ed Goldfarb has been an arranger, orchestrator, composer, music director, and above all, a gifted pianist. Ed’s music has been featured in films such as Francis Ford Coppola’s Apocalypse Now Redux, award-winning PBS productions Nanga Parbat: Naked Mountain and Expedition EarthScope, live performances including San Francisco with conductor Michael Tilson Thomas and Bob Newhart featuring the legendary comedian himself, and nationally touring Broadway revue, The Broadway Concert: A Romantic Journey. He also likes to write about music, film and popular culture. 

Steve Yelick - Organ

smallSteve Yelick is accomplished keyboard player, and master of the Hammond B-3 organ. He was the leader of the famous house band at Pacific Recording Studios in the San Francisco Bay area, during the late 60’s and early 70’s. He has played in award winning jazz bands, and well known East Bay soul groups.  His musical talents have taken him from the Chitlin’ circuit in the Deep South to the court of European kings, and all points in between. James Petrella - Electric Guitar

smallJames picked up the guitar at age 13 after being inspired by the Beatles, the Stones and the Yardbirds. He played bass guitar in his first band along with his friend Phil Zamora and two buddies. By age 15 they would cut their first demoat Victory Records in Fresno, Ca.Soon after James and Charles, the rhythm guitarist from the band, took a bus trip to Hollywood, Ca. where they ended up in the offices of Atlantic and Columbia records meeting with AR execs. All the execs where surprised to see two 15 year olds with their own record, but in the end no deal came of their bold efforts.Fours years and 4 bands later while serving in the Air Force, James switched over to lead guitar and joined his first band as a lead player. Becoming proficient in many styles of playing James has handled guitar duties in rock bands, soul bands,rhythm n blues, latin rock and country bands. He also advanced to record production, engineering and recording along with forming his own label Mavwreck Records. He is a voting member of the Grammys and member of AES.His first release with his Albatross band hit number one on the Amazon bluesrock charts and was a finalist in the Grammy nominations.

Andy Hutnick - Piano

Andy is a multi-talented piano and organ player from San Mateo California. He is well known for his classic rock riffs such as The Who, Santana, and Led Zeppelin's famous keyboard lines. He currently teaches lessons full time at B Street Music in San Mateo. 

Willie Garza - Percussion

Willie Garza is a multi-instrumentalist, educator and clinician home based in San Jose Bay Area. He specializes in Afro-Latin percussion while exploring other sounds of Arabic, Flamenco, Brazilian and Vocal- Percussion. Willie has a unique and creative approach, inter- locking world music concepts with styles of contemporary music that include Rock, R&B, Hip- Hop, Funk and Jazz. Willie’s appreciation for cultures and music throughout the world influence and compel a creativity that makes Willie Garza part of a new breed of percussionists in the music scene today.

Willie has performed and recorded with international artists and several local artists and groups in California bay area such as, favored nations recording artist James Robinson, Charangon Nueve, The Saul Kaye Band, Kaweh, Latin Lingo, Marc Russo and the Classy Cats, Full Spectrum, Mambo Tropical, Caixa, Silicon Vibe, Fito Reinoso, Piano y Son, San Jose State Latin Jazz Ensemble, KIDGUCH, BukleBros, Audio Dub, Latin Funk Express, White Roses, JT Horns.

Throughout his career he has had the opportunity to work with and perform with artists and groups such as: Trombonist, Conrad Herwig, Hal Galper Quintet, Vibraphonist and Marimba Master, Dave Samuels, Composer/Pianist, Eugenio Toussaint, Trombonist/Composer, Rob McConnel, Saxophonist, Richie Cole, Latin-percussionist/Composer, Pete Escovedo, Gabriel Espinosa y su grupo Ashanti, Jazz y Salsa Alto Maiz, Saxophonist/Composer, Benny Golsen. Maja with musicians, Mylious Johnson, on Drums, Alex Alessandroni and Jason Chapman on Keyboards, Asa ‘ACE’ Livingston on Bass.

Maritza Spieller - Trombone, Trumpet and Sax

Studied trombone performance with Roy Main at Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo. She is now pursuing music education and a secondary teaching credential at San Jose State University. She has been playing brass instruments for almost 15 years, and is now studying the pedagogy behind the other western instruments. She has performed at Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, and Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. She has also performed in ensembles with Bill Watrous, Andy Martin, and Alex Iles, although performance has been important she is focusing on music education and helping keep music in schools.
